I’ve been mentoring with Vern at Vern’s taxidermy for many years. He has over 40 years plus experience in taxidermy. Everything from deer heads, shoulder mounts, and full body mounts. Fish to exotic animals. Birds geese waterfowl. Everything from repairing and restoring old taxidermy mounts. We can do it all.

Not only have I been educated in the proper way of taxidermy. Also in the art of restoring taxidermy. It has been taught to me in a way that has lasted the test of time.

I have been a hunter since I was 12 years old of pheasants, ducks, geese, and deer. I have been an outdoor enthusiast ever since my father and I first started hunting as a young child. The opportunity to learn and master the art of taxidermy has been my honor from Vern at Vern’s Taxidermy of Algonquin.

For the past 4 years of my life, I have not been able to hunt as I would like to. However, I’ve had the great honor of being a mentor in learning the art of taxidermy. The wonderful thing about taxidermy is that we could do everything from game animals to pets. Even to turtles.
